Mobile Primary Care

Our Story...and our Continuing Journey

Founded in 2007 as Mobile Primary Care by Dr. Cory Shaffer, Michelle Brenner, and Susan Oesterle, the organization aimed to deliver top-notch primary care to patients confined to their homes. The practice rapidly expanded and addressed a critical need for elderly and chronically ill patients in Western New York.

Our model employs a team-based approach, involving physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and pharmacists who collaborate closely with patients and their families to ensure the most effective, comprehensive, and holistic care.

In 2025, nearly 18 years after our founding, Mobile Primary Care became has joined Curana Health. This transition marks a significant step forward in our ability to provide exceptional care.
 

Our commitment to you, your loved ones, and the residents we proudly serve in Western New York remains our highest priority.

While some processes may evolve as we integrate with Curana Health, our dedicated local providers will continue serving your communities, ensuring seamless, consistent care.

Today, our services span more than 60 zip codes across three counties, reaching over 30 cities and townships throughout the Greater Buffalo/Niagara Region.

Our experienced team includes 30 dedicated providers—including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants—who deliver personalized care to over 2,000 patients in the comfort of their homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities.
